I think I can somewhat revive it by doing a complete factory reset, but first I have to make absolutely sure the files I salvaged are all that I need before I do a clean wipe. This will reset it back to Windows 8 which could be a problem if I were to use it again. Turning to Linux might be a good idea if I’m desperate to have it back up and running.
Regardless, because the device has also been suffering from a hardware issue for quite a while, I believe it’s best to save up for a better device that won’t die on me for two hours and has a borked charging station. It’s better this way because I can only go so far with a 8GB RAM workstation with a screen size that’s now substantially smaller than most modern smart tablets.
Always sad when equipment dies on ya.
I hope you'll be able to replace it, and good luck out
there brotha.
@OviManic Maybe it's recommended you should turn that tablet into a back-up (Linux, Windows, whatever lol), just incase the new one you get dies a little earlier
Perhaps. I once heard from an artist that their more recent Surface died on them in about a month of using it. So that as a Plan B might be a good idea!
