Guyana (also south america) is mentioned in the Pokemon mansion journals. There´s an island called "New Island" in the chilean Patagonia, same as the island where Mewtwo built his castle in the first movie.The sign outside of the Lt. Surge's Gym describes him as "The Lightning American." Those are the places that I´m aware of.
