Not really. It’s the whistle that triggers them to follow the captain. There’s an enemy in Pikmin 2 that makes this odd whistle that confuses the Pikmin into following it.

The piece is very adorable! It might be my device doing it, but I believe you added a CRT filter to it. If you did, nice touch!
