Lovely art! If you want to darken the outlines while keeping the brush and without needing to make repeated strokes, you can duplicate the “outline” layer and then merge them together. If it’s too dark, you can remove some of the opacity on one of the duplicates before you merge the two together. Just my two cents here!

Thanks for the tip! I usually do that (in procreate actually). An effect I was trying to get here was that of an illustration without an outline to make it more like a painting. I turned down the line opacity for that, it tricks my eye a little! But its not enough.
