I love how modern DOOM has now given the Hell Knight and the Baron of Hell a distinct look apart from one another. Him appearing as the horned menace fits his role most of all!

Definitely. Although Eternal made the Baron shoot a lot less (in fact I didn't know it could shoot until seeing it in a video after I beat the game,) so they still feel a little same-y with the way they act.
