Its from Season 4 Ep 11: Homer's Triple Bypass. Its one of the smear frames while he's having his heart attack. The sequences has a ton of really great frames.

How many stages does it often take you to finish a piece?

Hard to say, but I'm doing 2-3 hours at a time and have about 6 screen recordings for this one, so that puts be at about 18 hours and I'm 50% done. The last painting I did was around 70 hours, but to be fair my children interrupt me quite a bit. Either way I work slow.
