Feels like Culprate if he was hired to make an intro song for a 3D action anime game for the PS2!

So ‘tis be the start of Alien Hominid having a rap battle with an agent?

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Yes!

Wow! So much to discuss at 29:33!

But seriously, it’s a great discussion, and I hope you guys had fun!

Also, I saw a Tankman figure at Pico Day, but I didn’t know or at least remembered there were multiple being given away by someone!! 😟

RavioliBox responds:

Yeh! The guy had a box full of them!

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Awesome to see you, Ovi! We need to find out who gave the Tankman figures at Pico Day!

Absolutely! yes I can guarantee say it was a lot of fun, I am extremely grateful Ravi agreed to have a conversation. She has a great sense of humor.

Okay, I can definitely hear this being played in a Newgrounds game sometime in the mid 2000s!

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Hi Ovi! That is exactly what I was aiming for. I'm very happy to hear you think it sounds like a Newgrounds game from the mid-2000s.

I knew the Kirby Right Back at Ya collab was gonna get brought up! Admittedly, I didn’t like it as much as the original episode because some of the jokes got lost in the mayhem.

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Hi Ovi! Great to see you! Sad to hear some of the jokes got lost in the mayhem.

Can’t stand “Take on Me” in general anyways. Freakin’ Illumination replaced what could’ve been the best song in the Super Mario Bros. Movie for that 80s garbage and I have been frustrated by that dumb decision since!

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

You're absolutely right that they make dumb decisions. There are so many amazing songs available, yet they choose ones that people already know. I think they just don't respect the audience's intelligence.

When it comes to these types of coworker relationships, I’m often free to listen to whatever they want or have to say despite the fact I don’t have a habit of talking myself.
That being said, if said coworker is becoming a complete distraction, I would definitely tell them we can continue the discussion on break but not at the moment when I’m busy doing the task at hand. I don’t wish to shut them down completely because that tends to sour relationships hard.

ADR3-N responds:

Yes, this is exactly what I'm talking about, the latter situation in which I'm very clearly trying to work on a pile of dirty dishes, and the coworker is wanting to gossip about something totally irrelevant, or which consumes mental energy needed to determine how to stack said dishes -- or the coworker is just... really in the way lol.

I try to continue the conversation as best as my little distracted mind will let me, while still doing my work xD

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Absolutely, I find it so bizarre that this is a very frequent occurrence. You cannot just say to them, "Nope, I don't want to listen," because that would be rude!

They advertised the Grimace Shake as being a “berry”-flavored milkshake, but I swear, what I drank had a hint of licorice in it that made the whole thing unappealing!

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Barry flavour! Now that's a creative title!

The constant buying of new equipment thing, I believe that ties to that dopamine rush of buying something new. Because not only do I Iove buying new equipment for independent work, but also dumb hobbies that I get tired of within a week.

I remember when I first got my Surface tablet, I also bought a professional microphone… That I’ve never touched since.

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Thank you, Borti! You're absolutely right. There is a great rush when buying new items because there's always this feeling that if I buy something, I will improve. However, a lot of the time, it is primarily about gaining skills.

This is something I struggle with because I am bad at learning. I understand what you mean by getting into dumb hobbies. I once considered getting a lot of plants, but I find it difficult to take care of even one. Additionally, they all have different watering schedules instead of being on the same schedule.

@OviManic I'm excited to know what model of microphone it is?

You know what else I would’ve asked if I was able to after the New Jersey meetup?
How was the parking in Dublin?
Because I guarantee it was 10x better than how it was in Rutherford!

SteveMaddenFootball responds:

Thank you, I would say you're right! I took the bus. I can imagine that parking in Dublin would be an absolute nightmare. Still less of a nightmare compared to Rutherford! The city is quite walkable, which is a plus.
